The Quakertown Soccer Club will host a 24-hour marathon soccer tournament as a charity/fund-raising event.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of Sarah Parvin, a former QSC player who lost her battle with cancer at the age of 12.
This tournament is open to the following divisions:
U9 - U18 boys and girls Travel Teams (USSF Affiliated)
15 - 18 co-ed Recreational Competitive
15 - 18 co-ed Recrational Novice
19 - 29 co-ed Recreational Competitive
19 - 29 co-ed Recreational Novice
30+ co-ed Recreational Competitive
30+ Co-Ed Recreational Novice
The Sarah Parvin SoccerFest is a tournament where our objectives include; improving the skill sets of all levels of players and teams with small sided games, introducing the game to new players and forming partnerships and relationships between clubs and communities all the while developing our soccer players to their fullest athletic, educational, and social potential.
Highlights of this tournament also include a Tent City where teams can camp out, a Rock Climbing Wall, Moon Bounce, Tethered Balloon Rides, DJ/Music/Live Bands and a FIFA ’09 X-Box/Playstation Tournament.
There will be 24 hour on-site security with partnership from the local Municipal Police Departments.
This event provides an opportunity for QSC players and players from across the region to contribute in fight against this disease that affects too many, while doing what that they do best - play soccer! We encourage the support of all QSC families and friends and anyone who wants to be a part of something that will get us to the finish line… a CURE!
